All Are Welcome
We lean into the notion that building community is hard, finding common purpose rare, and that these twin aims matter now more than ever.
Faced with systems that do not support our individual and collective well-being, we meet to build togetherness, support one another, and strengthen our own offerings in this very important time in human history.
We extend this invitation to people who recognize that gathering is a strength, that sharing our collective wisdom is a super-power, and we hope you will join us.
We invite teachers, coaches, nurses, therapists, healers, physicians, doulas, social workers, and other frontline providers to join us. Even if you weren’t able to attend the previous meetings, you are welcome to join, as we transition from roundtable conversations into focused working groups.
When “I” is replaced with “We”, even illness becomes wellness.

Save the Date
Our next gathering is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5th, 12:15 pm eastern, 9:15 am pacific. We’ll share the Zoom link in upcoming posts.
What’s Coming
In the upcoming three working group sessions, we will share and co-develop ideas for empowering ourselves in our communities to better serve clients, each other and ourselves.
The focus is on a context of mutual flourishing, and we will share broad practices that help each of us hone our own unique skillsets.
We will work on:
weaving deep self-inquiry skills into all we do so that we may always act with authenticity and truth
refine what gifts and skills we have to offer clients, and the world
discuss pragmatic aspects of community building and mutual cooperation
These meetings are about moving from ideas into action in a context of life-long learning and reflection.
We believe that one of the most meaningful contributions we can offer right now is to support and empower each other in the work of fostering the broadest well-being possible. We are motivated to be idealistic and practical, grounded and bold, and we are excited to collaborate with each of you.
At the next meeting we will share stories, practice grounding, deepen into our most fundamental hopes and striving.
Context
Our aim is to model the opportunity we all have to create spaces that channel our collective energy toward collaboration that leads to real-world impact. We have done this before, and return to tenets that serve us all:
We encourage individual authenticity and deep self-reflection, helping each person reconnect with their deeper “why” and sense of purpose
We accept that community building is not easy, and so we invest in connection and shared insight as steps in that journey
We practice co-creating trust by committing together to reciprocity, and together we strive to model the broadest abundance possible, by daily recommitting to love, presence, and care so that these can become the norm rather than the exception.
We believe that there are millions of us who wish to live in a world of thriving and peace. We recognize that our most powerful tool is working together, and this invitation is one more modest step in that direction.
As we grow more committed to our own truth, our own skills in healing, redemption, and transformation, we experience that abundance in our own lives, and share that bounty with others.
Tooling
We are prototyping a new tool called Crossroads to let us gather and share online more effectively. We will be inviting participants into this at the onset of this series of sessions.
Gratitude
We deeply feel that we are alive now because humanity and Earth need us… need our smarts… our heart… our willingness… our diligence.
Thank you to Robin Wall Kimmerer for her insight that “All flourishing is mutual.”
Warmly,
Shelly and Mark
