Authorized Trainers: Claim Your Free Benefit
If you have ever held an Associate or Trainer membership with us, you are recognized as a Yoga Teacher Central Authorized Trainer.
We are moving to formally recognize teachers who meet elevated knowledge standards, beginning with your trainees. This step reflects longstanding feedback, along with more recent input indicating that the field has changed significantly and that an evolved approach to supporting and recognizing high standards is especially welcome now.
You’ve demonstrated a commitment to delivering high-quality, values-driven education that goes beyond conventional requirements to prepare teachers using a comprehensive and well-structured approach that emphasizes rigor, precision, and real-world application. We wish to acknowledge that commitment by extending automatic recognition to your trainees.
Your Teachers are Automatically Recognized
Please email your teachers that they can reach out to us, and/or email us a list of your teachers and we’ll reach out to them.
As a thank you for helping to bring about higher industry standards, we’re happy to offer you a complimentary item of your choice from our Store — just let us know what you’d like.
Recognized Teacher Program
We will soon offer all yoga teachers a pathway to demonstrate their knowledge and ongoing commitment to professional development, and to receive formal recognition of their standing.
Our aim is to keep the program accessible, efficient, and transparent — requiring only a modest one-time enrollment fee, a teacher membership (expired memberships accepted), and a knowledge assessment (study guide provided), with the possibility of additional components informed by a volunteer board and community input.
What do you feel is most important to include? I welcome your thoughts by email, or we can connect over Zoom — schedule here.
